Benefits of ZenoWell
Vagus nerve stimulation for relaxation, HRV optimization and better sleep.
Stress Reduction
May help activate the parasympathetic system; individual response varies.
HRV Tracking
Documented HRV changes in a hands-on self-test – heart rate variability is one of the key markers of autonomic nervous system balance.
Better Sleep
May support falling asleep and subjective sleep quality; results vary.
Focus & Clarity
Enhances cognitive function and mental clarity through vagal tone improvement.
Faster Recovery
Activates the body's recovery mode after exercise or stress.
CE Medical Device
The manufacturer lists the device with CE, FCC and RoHS marking as an „Auricular Relaxation Device“ – not as a certified medical device.
ZenoWell Vagus Nerve Stimulator
CE-certified tVNS technology for stress reduction and HRV optimization.

Zenowell Vagusnerv-Stimulator
CE-certified tVNS stimulator for stress reduction, better sleep and HRV optimization.

tVNS ear device – ZenoWell against the market standard
ZenoWell is a tVNS device for vagus nerve stimulation at the ear. The manufacturer lists it with CE, FCC and RoHS marking as a wellness device („Auricular Relaxation Device“) — no medical device class is stated. The ear clip stimulates the auricular branch of the vagus nerve via selectable programs. At about €400 (15 % off with code LONGEVITY) ZenoWell sits well below Nurosym in price — similar mechanism but fewer device-specific studies.
In a 4-week self-test (daily 20-minute session, ramping intensity) HRV rose moderately (RMSSD +6 ms weekly average via Oura) with subjectively better downregulation after stressful appointments. If you want a cheaper alternative to Nurosym and can live with a smaller published evidence base, ZenoWell is a sensible option. For the strongest evidence base Nurosym remains the more conservative pick.

Honest context on ZenoWell
ZenoWell is not a certified medical device but a CE-marked wellness device. The evidence on taVNS refers to the method in general, not to this specific hardware — we are not aware of device-specific clinical trials.
Our HRV observation comes from a single four-week self-test with an Oura ring. That is an experience report, not an efficacy claim.
- Do not use with a pacemaker or active implants.
- Clarify with a physician in case of illness or pregnancy.
- If you need regulatory assurance, Nurosym (CE Class IIa) is the better fit.
Vagus nerve stimulator comparison: Zenowell vs Nurosym vs Pulsetto
All three devices use transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS) at the ear and are approved in the EU as consumer wellness or medical devices. The differences mostly come down to regulatory depth, clinical evidence base and price positioning.
- Nurosym – clinically validated medical device with published studies (Royal Free Hospital, Imperial College London). Strongest evidence, highest price. First choice if scientific rigor matters more than price.
- Zenowell – CE-marked wellness device (not a certified medical device) with app control and integrated HRV tracking. Best fit for sports recovery, sleep optimization and biohackers who want vagus nerve stimulation at home. Code LONGEVITY saves 15%.
- Pulsetto – neck-collar form factor (instead of ear clip), cheap entry point, but no medical device status. More of a wellness gadget than a clinical tool.
In short: choose Nurosym for the strongest evidence base. Choose Zenowell as an everyday HRV tool for sleep and recovery.
Safety & contraindications: tVNS devices are not suitable with pacemakers, active implants, acute arrhythmia or during pregnancy. If you have pre-existing conditions, consult a physician before use.
