Four quick questions – then you know which system makes sense.
Then you need a tank model. Fusion Pro, Fusion Ice and Fusion Air run on a 5-litre tank and only need a power socket.
Only the Fusion Pro carbonates inside the unit – with an internal cartridge or an external CO₂ bottle.
The Fusion Ice makes up to 90 ice cubes and chills water down to roughly 1 °C.
At 19.5 cm the Fusion Air is the slimmest tank unit, and the Fusion Stream at 13.3 cm the slimmest model with a mains connection. The Quella Pro stays a compact countertop unit for beginners.

I have inspected the Fusion Pro 2 in person and started several tests. Until the measurements are fully documented, technical values here are explicitly identified as manufacturer or manual information. My Fusion Pro 1 experience is not transferred to this model.
The included Coffee Tray distributes 95 °C water in intervals inside a closed brewing chamber. It fits Melitta 1×2, 1×4 and 1×6; holder, filters, coffee and pot are not included.
The internal compartment accepts standard 425 g screw cylinders. Pink SodaStream Quick Connect cylinders do not fit. Large external bottles require a separate pressure regulator; the stated maximum is 4.5 bar.

Certifications apply to the properties tested. They do not validate every marketing claim. Filtration rates depend on feed water, temperature, filter age and operating conditions.
The 800 ml sparkling tank operates only while cooling is on. The manual states about 1.1 L regular or 0.8 L strongly sparkling per cycle. After 500 ml is dispensed and three minutes pass, replenishment takes roughly one to two minutes. Water below 15 °C binds CO₂ more effectively.
For the 7-in-1 filter, the laboratory references include conductivity of 146 µS/cm, pH 7.0, calcium 18 mg/L, magnesium 4 mg/L and hardness 3.28 °dH. The optional 5-in-1 values are 47 µS/cm, pH 5.8, calcium 6.1 mg/L, magnesium 0.61 mg/L and hardness 1 °dH. These are reference values; contact time, feed water and mains operation affect the result.
Included are the preinstalled 7-in-1 filter, external tank, low and high drip trays, Coffee Tray, water connector, drain clamp, hoses, accessories and manual. CO₂ cylinder, pressure regulator and coffee equipment are not included.
OsmoFresh states these average figures: PFAS 99.9%, microplastics and bacteria above 99%, lead 96–98%, nitrate 94–96%, fluoride 93–95%, iron, aluminium, copper, manganese and silver 97–99%, mercury and chromium 95–98%, cadmium 95–97%, nickel and zinc 95–97%, sulphate and phosphates 97–99%, cyanide 97–98%, bromine 93–96%, chloride 85–95%, silicates 85–90% and silicic acid 90–95%.
These figures are not guaranteed. Feed water, pressure, temperature, filter age, storage and production variation affect performance. Filtration figures do not establish a medical benefit.
After transport, the manual says to leave the unit upright and switched off for at least 24 hours. Allow about 10 cm ventilation at each side. In tank mode, remove the 5 L tank when the red drop appears, discard remaining water and refill; do not top up. Use holiday mode after more than three days; the manual recommends replacing the filter after more than three weeks.
No. It can use the 5 L external tank or connect to cold water and a drain. Both operating modes must not be combined.

The manual states about 1.1 L regular or 0.8 L strongly sparkling. Replenishment starts after dispensing 500 ml followed by a three-minute pause and takes about one to two minutes.
It dispenses 95 °C water in intervals. The Coffee Tray distributes the flow above the filter holder and fits Melitta 1×2, 1×4 and 1×6. Holder, filters, coffee and pot are not included.
The manual says after 12 months at the latest, or sooner with poor feed water, reduced flow or unusual TDS readings.
One is taken after the RO membrane and one after remineralisation. TDS is a total dissolved-solids reading, not a complete contaminant analysis.
OsmoFresh recommends about once or twice a week with lukewarm water and citric acid or its cleaning set. The tank is not dishwasher safe.
After transport, leave it upright and switched off for at least 24 hours, allow about 10 cm clearance at each side, then complete the guided setup and flush.
The stated tank-mode ratio is 4:1. The product page states 1:2 for mains operation; we reproduce that figure as a manufacturer statement without interpreting it.
The manufacturer positions it for homes and offices with 1–6 people. For motorhomes, check weight, 2,400 W peak power, secure placement, ventilation and water supply individually.

Recommendation: Pre- and post-filters roughly every 6 months, membrane after 12–24 months or if TDS is permanently ≥ 30.
Clean the external tank with citric acid every 2–3 weeks.

Cause: Filter clogged or internal tank hasn't been filled for a long time.
Solution: Change the filters. In case of an E1 error, restart the device and clean if necessary.
Cause: Filter clogged or water pressure too low.
Solution: Change the filters. Check inlet water pressure (should be 1–6 bar).
Cause: New filters haven't been flushed yet or filters are at the end of their lifespan.
Solution: For new filters, discard the first liter. For old filters, replace them.
Cause: Internal tank hasn't been filled for a long time, internal blockage.
Solution: Restart the device. If it happens again, perform cleaning with the OsmoFresh kit.
