My PhenoAge: 20.17 years
How nine routine blood values turn into a phenotypic age of roughly 20.17 years under the Levine equation – with every input value, unit and limitation.

How the value is produced
The nine markers and chronological age are weighted with the coefficients from Levine et al. (2018). This yields a linear predictor that a Gompertz function translates into a ten-year mortality risk. That risk is then converted back into an age in years – the PhenoAge.
This is the clinical PhenoAge from blood values, not the DNA-methylation-based DNAm PhenoAge. Both carry the same name but measure different things and are not directly comparable.
How this differs from my Bortz Age
In parallel I calculated my Bortz Age from the same blood panel. Both models pointing in a similar direction does not make them identical: they use different markers, coefficients and reference cohorts, so the results must not be equated.
Context and scientific limits
The Levine model was developed on a NHANES cohort whose participants were on average considerably older than I was at the time of measurement (34.57 years). The calculation is therefore an extrapolation to the edge of the age range studied.
Lab values fluctuate by day, method and laboratory. A single measurement is a snapshot, not a diagnosis. What matters most is the trend across several measurements taken at the same lab.
