I have been using the OsmoFresh Fusion Pro for about 9 months – I received the unit back in October 2025, one of the very first to ship. Since then it has seen heavy daily use. Time for an honest long-term review.
The video covers: • Looks & build quality after 9 months: stainless steel front, tank, water outlet and CO₂ compartment almost like new – minimal wear only on the drip tray cover and the feet (the latter my own fault for sliding the heavy unit across the counter) • Water quality, filter & hygiene: why I have replaced the filter twice, why the unit should stay plugged in during vacations (UV protection stays active) and why I discard the first draw after longer idle periods • TDS reading & AQUANEXO 16-in-1 quick test: a direct test strip comparison of tap water vs. Fusion Pro – hardness, alkalinity and mineralization clearly reduced (full breakdown on the OsmoFresh partner page) • Inside the internal tank: no biofilm, no visible contamination – the UVC protection does exactly what it should (please do not open yours carelessly – contamination risk!) • Features & everyday tricks: Eco Mode (disable cooling overnight = quieter & more efficient), adjustable cooling temperature, cleaning and rinse programs • Hot water test: does it still reach the full 95 °C after 9 months? I measured it – yes, even slightly above • CO₂ cartridges: my value pick (Blueft 4-pack) and why taste differences between brands are minimal • Cleaning & maintenance: clean the outer tank at least once a month with baking soda or citric acid
My verdict: The Fusion Pro is one of the most complete systems on the market – osmosis water, sparkling water, cooling, hot water up to 95 °C, UVC protection, tank or direct-line operation, TDS display and a large touchscreen. Crucially, it does not just work in the first few weeks, but still delivers after 9 months of intensive use.
